KIANA’S HOUSE IS OPEN!

Kiana’s House began receiving children February 15, 2024. This one of a kind transitional home has been a valued resource in our city to children from all over our region.  The children and DCS Staff that we get to serve have shared their appreciation for the attention to detail that has gone into making Kiana’s House a safe, beautiful and comfortable home for those in crisis and transition.

Serving on the WRAP Team offers volunteers an opportunity to impact generations, one child at a time, and provide support to the DCS Staff in the accomplishment of their daily responsibilities. WRAP is an acronym that stands for Words of affirmation, Respite, Acts of service and Prayer. Volunteers spend quality time with the children playing games, doing crafts, assisting with homework or by simply being a listening ear and caring heart. The DCS Staff is also a target of the affection that we are eager to pour out as we aim to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Anyone interested in volunteering for Kiana’s House should complete the volunteer questionnaire. There is a federal vetting and onboarding process which includes a full background check.
