Since opening its doors on February 15, 2024, Kiana’s House has been a beacon of hope for children in crisis. This transitional home offers a safe, nurturing environment for foster children as they navigate one of the most challenging times in their lives. Located in Clarksville, TN, Kiana’s House is more than just a shelter—it’s a sanctuary of comfort and care.
Kiana’s House was established in memory of Kiana Long, a remarkable young woman whose love for children was unmatched. Her passion for making a difference lives on in every meal served, every bed made, and every comforting word spoken within these walls. Through this home, her legacy continues to shine, providing foster children with the love and care she so deeply believed in.
Meeting Essential Needs
At Kiana’s House, children are provided with the essentials they need to thrive:
To protect the privacy and safety of the children in our care, we only share photos of the home and its amenities, not the children themselves.
Volunteers play a vital role at Kiana’s House through our WRAP Program:
Words of Affirmation: Encouraging children and staff alike.
Respite: Assist the DCS Staff during the transition period of each child.
Acts of Service: From homework help to fun activities, volunteers serve with joy.
Prayer: Covering the home in faith and love.
By engaging with the children through games, crafts, and simple acts of kindness, volunteers become a source of comfort and stability.
And we’re not stopping there! Our goal is to expand, building more Kiana’s Houses to reach even more children in crisis. With your continued support, we can make this vision a reality. Consider donating today to help us provide hope, healing, and a brighter future for vulnerable children. Together, we can transform lives and create lasting change!
Interested in getting involved? Volunteers must complete a federal vetting process, including a full background check. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of these incredible children.
